The 889 cc liquid-cooled 3-cylinder produces high-torque out of a lightweight package to produce a powerful yet playful MT that emits a beautiful sound to enhance the feeling of acceleration thanks to its tuned intake and exhaust. The MT-09’s fuel injection system increases efficiency, while optimized gear ratios and its assist-and-slipper clutch match the higher output of the EU5-compliant engine.

The compact CF die-cast aluminium frame design is a modern take on the Deltabox layout. A higher level of chassis stiffness improves rider feedback and stability while increasing the dynamic riding window.
